More than two months removed from the first women's WrestleMania main event, the WWE women's division is struggling to regain the momentum it had earlier this year.

In a rematch from Money in the Bank, Becky Lynch will defend her Raw Women's Championship against Lacey Evans at Stomping Grounds. Bayley and Alexa Bliss will look to improve upon their underwhelming feud from 2017 as they face off for the SmackDown Women's Championship at the pay-per-view.

With Ronda Rousey on hiatus, there was likely always going to be an adjustment period for the women's division. Rousey's first year in professional wrestling brought the type of intrigue that can't really be replicated. Because she was so new to the ring, pretty much any matchup Rousey was in felt like more of an attraction than anything else on the card. There was interest in seeing how much Rousey had improved from match to match and how she would work with each opponent.
