WWE announced most of its PPV dates for 2022, with a number of interesting notes.

As we had mentioned a few weeks back, WrestleMania is officially now a two-day event, running on 4/2 and 4/3 at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. The WWE returns to the stadium where they set their legitimate all-time attendance record on April 3, 2016, claiming 101,763 fans, although the actual turnstile count (meaning the number of fans who attended) was 80,709 fans (Brandon Thurston got the actual count from the Arlington Police Department) and the paid was approximately 79,800 based on WWE’s KPI reports. Both numbers were slightly ahead of the 1992 SummerSlam at Wembley Stadium where the legitimate numbers were 79,127 in the building at 78,927 paid. The famed WrestleMania III show at the Pontiac Silverdome, which is probably the most famous event in WWE history, did 78,300 in the building and 76,000 paid.
