Malcolm Bivens makes NXT TV debut with new tag team

Malcolm Bivens arrived with a new tag team on this week’s episode of NXT.

Bivens, the former Stokely Hathaway, was revealed as the manager of Rinku Singh & Saurav Gurjar on tonight’s show. Singh & Gurjar attacked Matt Riddle after he defeated Roderick Strong, then Bivens came out with a microphone.

Bivens brought up that Riddle’s tag team partner Pete Dunne was halfway across the world and said this was the perfect time to introduce Riddle to the future of the NXT tag team division.

Riddle & Dunne are the current NXT Tag Team Champions. They won the titles from Undisputed Era’s Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish at NXT TakeOver: Portland last month.

Singh & Gurjar’s names weren’t mentioned tonight. Both wrestlers are from India and have been teaming together on NXT house shows.

Singh won India’s “Million Dollar Arm” reality series that a Disney movie of the same name was based on. He signed a contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates and spent time in their organization.

Gurjar has a background in acting and kickboxing.

Bivens signing with WWE was confirmed in March 2019. His pre-WWE career included managing in both EVOLVE and ROH.
