NXT UK coming to Dublin, Ireland for next TakeOver special

NXT UK is coming to Dublin, Ireland for their next TakeOver special.

NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin will take place at 3Arena on Sunday, April 26 and will air live on the WWE Network. The announcement of the show was made during NXT TakeOver: Portland tonight.

Cruiserweight Champion Jordan Devlin tweeted about the announcement: “The Irish Ace is coming home. Irish crowds always create an insane atmosphere, absolutely buzzing! #NXTTakeover #NXTUK.” Devlin also wrote: “Give me WALTER, you cowards. @NXTUK @JohnnySaintWWE”

Ticket information for the show hasn’t been revealed.

This will be NXT UK’s fourth TakeOver special and the first to be held outside of the United Kingdom. Blackpool, England hosted UK TakeOvers in January 2019 and January 2020 and Cardiff, Wales hosted a UK TakeOver in August 2019.

TakeOver: Dublin continues the recent trend of TakeOver events being held on Sundays. UK TakeOver: Blackpool II and TakeOver: Portland were both also on Sundays.

NXT UK is currently airing television episodes from last month’s tapings in York, England. The brand’s next TV tapings are in Coventry, England on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7.
