Danny Hodge found safe after being reported missing

Danny Hodge, who was missing last night, was found and is okay according to messages sent by his granddaughter, Stacy Ewy Wilson, and Les Thatcher.

Hodge, 86 was reported missing at 5:30 p.m. last night when police put out a silver alert on one of the greatest amateur and pro wrestlers of all-time.

Police feared that Hodge, who suffers from dementia, would not be able to find his way home. The alert stated that Hodge was “in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.”

“Praise God! Thank you!,” wrote Wilson. “We appreciate all of your help and prayers! Grandpa, Danny Hodge, has been located in Tulsa! On our way to pick him up. Very blessed to have so many who love him and our family.”

Tulsa is about 90 miles from Perry, where Hodge is the local hero, and lives.

Jake Hager (Jack Swagger) grew up down the street from Hodge and wrestled with his grandchildren.
