Darby Allin joins AEW, will face Cody at Fyter Fest

At the end of this week’s Road to Double or Nothing episode, it was revealed that Darby Allin has joined All Elite Wrestling.

A video of Allin aired on the episode, with him spelling out “AEW” in fire. AEW then announced Cody Rhodes vs. Allin for their Fyter Fest show with CEO Fighting Game Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida on Saturday, June 29.

WWN announced earlier this week that Allin had finished up with them. Allin & Priscilla Kelly (who also finished up with WWN) lost to Austin Theory & Brandi Lauren at the WWN Supershow last Friday.

In his final match for EVOLVE, Allin lost to Anthony Henry last Thursday.

Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks vs. PAC, Pentagon Jr. & Fenix and Cody vs. Allin have now been announced for Fyter Fest. The show is taking place at the Ocean Center and will also feature a hardcore match between CEO organizer Alex Jebailey and AEW’s Michael Nakazawa.
