Hangman Page vs. Joey Janela announced for All In
The card for All In now has three confirmed matches.
At the end of today’s episode of Being the Elite, it was announced that Hangman Page will be facing Joey Janela (w/ Penelope Ford) at the September 1 show in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Their match joins Kazuchika Okada vs. Marty Scurll and Cody Rhodes challenging for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship on the card.
Page’s story on Being the Elite has been that he’s responsible for the “murder” of Joey Ryan’s character. Page facing Janela was announced after he snapped when Juice Robinson asked him about the “Joey thing” from last week’s episode, referring to Janela’s appearance.
The storyline of Flip Gordon trying to get booked on All In also continued on this week’s Being the Elite. After Gordon lost his NWA title match against Nick Aldis at ROH Honor for All last Friday and seemingly earned Cody’s respect, Cody teased booking Gordon for the show but gave him a $25 Cracker Barrel gift card instead.
