On this week’s DragonKingKarl, I continue my look at the history of pro wrestling by taking a look at every major event that happened in April 1983.

It appeared like Hulk Hogan won the AWA World title from Nick Bockwinkel….but not so fast. Bockwinkel also battled Jerry Lawler all month.

Ric Flair continued to defend the NWA World title all over the U.S. while a heel Bob Armstrong won the Southeastern title. WWF is drawing large crowds with Bob Backlund against “Big” John Studd, plus we look at Japan.
