On today’s DragonKingKarl Classic Wrestling Show, I dive back into my long-form, month-by-month history of pro wrestling series.

Currently, we are up to July 1984 (which I cover in my DragonKingKarl Stern 1984-1985 Pro Wrestling Omnibus book) where one of the major events in the rise of WWF/WWE takes place: Black Saturday when Championship Wrestling from Georgia went off the air replaced by WWF programming.

It did not go well.

Plus, the month saw Rick Martel as AWA World Champion, NJPW news, Mid-South having a huge show, and much more.
