Wrestling Observer Radio with Dave Meltzer and myself, guest co-host Garrett Gonzales, is back. 

We begin the show discussing the New York Times story about Conor McGregor being investigated in Ireland for sexual assult. We talk about why the news took so long to come out and why the Times finally published the story. 

We then talk about Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair being featured on SportsCenter as well as Roman Reigns guesting on First Take. After that, we recap Smackdown Live, which included Charlotte winning the Smackdown women’s championship and Kofi Kingston finally being added to the match with Daniel Bryan.

We end with the rest of the WWE news, Lucha Underground releasing four wrestlers as part of a settlement, Flip Gordon’s injury, Kenny Omega doing the media rounds for his TSN documentary, and Cain Velasquez and TripleMania.
