Mike Bennett set for action on next week’s ROH TV
Mike Bennett is set for his first in-ring action since returning to Ring of Honor.
ROH has announced that Bennett vs. Vincent Marseglia will air on next week’s episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling. The episode will begin airing on local affiliates this coming weekend.
Bennett returned on last week’s edition of ROH television, reuniting with Matt Taven and saving him from an attack by Marseglia and Bateman. Bennett and Taven were formerly stablemates in The Kingdom and had held the ROH and IWGP Tag Team titles. After Bennett left ROH, Taven introduced a new version of The Kingdom in 2016 with Marseglia and TK O’Ryan as part of the group. Marseglia turned against Taven in November 2019.
In a post-show interview after last week’s ROH TV, Bennett was asked if he was in ROH to stay. Bennett responded by saying that he never should have left ROH.
Bennett was released by WWE during their roster cuts this April.
Tracy Williams vs. the returning John Walters in a Pure Rules match has also been announced for next week’s episode of ROH TV.
