Dallas to host Impact Slammiversary XVII

Impact Wrestling will be in Dallas, Texas on the same weekend as the city hosts the opening night of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1 Climax.

During tonight’s Rebellion broadcast, it was announced that Slammiversary XVII will take place in Dallas on Sunday, July 7. The opening night of this year’s G1 is being held at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Saturday, July 6.

Ahead of that weekend, WWE Raw is taking place at the American Airlines Center on Monday, July 1.

Impact has yet to reveal the venue for Slammiversary XVII. The event is their next pay-per-view.

Impact and Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling are partnering together for a show in Texas City, Texas on July 6. It’s named Deep Impact and will air live on Impact’s Twitch channel.

Arlington, Texas hosted Slammiversary 10 in 2012 and Slammiversary XII in 2014. Slammiversary XVI took place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada last year.
