Hurricane Matthew forces TNA to cancel & reschedule TV taping dates

The next few days of TNA Impact tv tapings in Orlando were canceled due to Hurricane Matthew bearing down on central Florida.

The original plan was to do an afternoon taping today as they would be unable to run a show tonight due to expected weather issues. They plan was then to cancel Friday and return for two Saturday tapings.

However, based on the weather, the tapings tonight, Friday, and Saturday afternoon are off. They will now run at 6 pm Saturday night, and two Sunday shows set for 1 pm and 6 pm.

In related news, NXT rescheduled two Florida house shows becasue of Matthew. Friday’s show in Crystal River has been rescheduled to October 29th, while Saturday’s show in Fort Pierce, FL, will now take place on October 14th.

Florida’s governor is urging up to 1.5 million people to evacuate as the storm hits land. It’s currently a Category 4 and is gaining steam as it heads toward the U.S. east coast.
