Impact Wrestling announces Emergence two-week special
Impact Wrestling will present a two-week special called Emergence later this month.
It was announced today that Emergence will take place on the Tuesday, August 18 and Tuesday, August 25 episodes of Impact. Night two will be headlined by Deonna Purrazzo defending her Knockouts Championship against Jordynne Grace: “BREAKING: As first reported by @FightfulWrestle, Emergence – a two week special on August 18th and August 25th – is coming to @AXSTV! @JordynneGrace’s rematch for the Knockouts Championship against @DeonnaPurrazzo is confirmed for Emergence Night 2! #Emergence”
Purrazzo vs. Grace is a rematch from last month’s Slammiversary pay-per-view. Purrazzo defeated Grace at that show to win the Knockouts Championship.
Impact Wrestling also presented a two-week Rebellion special on Impact in April. That event was originally supposed to be a PPV taking place on Sunday, April 19, but plans for it were changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Impact Wrestling’s next PPV will be Bound for Glory on Saturday, October 24.
