Impact Wrestling announces partnership with Twitch

Impact Wrestling officially announced a partnership with Twitch today, with the promotion set to launch a 24/7 channel on the service that will include exclusive content.

The press release that was issued notes that the channel will feature monthly live events and house shows, along with lifestyle programming that will showcase Impact wrestlers outside of the ring. The channel will launch on Wednesday, and Barbed Wire Massacre III, which was taped in Ottawa in November and pitted LAX & Homicide against OVE & Sami Callihan, will debut on Twitch on Thursday at 10 p.m. Eastern time.

Impact’s show at WrestleCon in New Orleans over WrestleMania weekend will air live on Twitch on April 6th.

Live Audio Wrestling, though mostly in name only, will be returning on Twitch and will air on Monday nights with Jeremy Borash as its host. Tyrus will host a show about pro wrestling, politics, sports, and pop culture on Wednesdays, and there will be a second-screen show with Josh Mathews during Impact on Thursdays.

Other programming will include classic content and the promotion’s Xplosion in-ring show.
