NJPW G1 Climax night four results, updated standings
The A Block was in action on Tuesday as NJPW came to Miyagi for night four of the G1 Climax.
A big win for Oleg Boltin headlined the event, with the former amateur wrestler from Kazakhstan improving his early tournament record to 2-1 by defeating Shingo Takagi. There were also victories by SANADA, Konosuke Takeshita, Ryohei Oiwa, and Jake Lee.

As things stand in A Block through everyone’s first three matches, there’s an even split with five wrestlers at 2-1 and five at 1-2. The next time the block will be in action is this Saturday.
B Block has a show tomorrow (Wednesday, July 22) with Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Callum Newman, Yuya Uemura vs. Drilla Moloney, OSKAR vs. HENARE, and Aaron Wolf vs. Gabe Kidd.
The G1 runs through August 16 and will likely determine a challenger for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, as long as current champion Yota Tsuji does not win. He’s started out with a 1-2 record so far.
