Injured WWE star attends ‘Stranger Things’ world premiere

While still out of action following shoulder surgery, WWE star Liv Morgan made a public appearance this week at the world premiere for “Stranger Things” season five.

The premiere took place in Los Angeles at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Thursday. Morgan — who has been away from WWE action since June due to suffering a dislocated shoulder that required surgery — was among the celebrities spotted on the red carpet.

Season five of “Stranger Things” will debut later this month, with episodes set to be released on November 26, December 25, and December 31. It’s the final season of the show, which is one of the biggest hits in Netflix history. WWE and Netflix have a strong partnership that includes the streamer being the broadcast home of Raw in the United States.

Morgan’s shoulder injury happened before WWE Evolution 2025 and derailed plans for her to face Nikki Bella at the PLE. WWE hopes that Morgan will be able to return around the beginning of 2026, which would put her on track to be involved with WrestleMania season.

Represented by Paradigm Talent Agency, Morgan has acted in “The Kill Room” and made a cameo on the TV series “Chucky.” She’s set for a role in the movie “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo.”

Morgan and her Judgment Day stablemate Dominik Mysterio are featured together in a new holiday ad campaign for sports retailer Lids.
