Andrade & Charlotte Flair announce their engagement
Two WWE wrestlers kicked off the new year by getting engaged.
Andrade (Manuel Alfonso Andrade Oropeza) and Charlotte Flair (Ashley Fliehr) announced their engagement overnight. Andrade tweeted: “She said siiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!”
Prior to Andrade proposing, Charlotte posted a picture with him earlier in the night and wrote: “Last year we were using Google translate for #NewYears. Happy New Years!!! @AndradeCienWWE”
Andrade became the WWE United States Champion near the end of 2019, defeating Rey Mysterio at WWE’s post-Christmas house show at Madison Square Garden on December 26. Mysterio will get his rematch for the title on the first Raw of 2020 next Monday.
On this week’s Raw, it was officially announced that Charlotte will be an entrant in the women’s Royal Rumble match at Royal Rumble 2020. The pay-per-view is taking place at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas on January 26, and Charlotte is the first wrestler to be confirmed for either Royal Rumble match.
