Asuka 'fine' following back injury at WWE SmackDown house show

Asuka is okay after suffering a back injury at a Smackdown house show tonight.

She was in a match against Mandy Rose at a house show event in White Plains, New York when, according to reports, landed on her head and neck badly after a move by Rose. After Asuka was unable to get up right away, The match was stopped and Asuka had to be helped to the back.

A short time later, Asuka posted on Twitter that she was alright, writing “I'm sorry for worrying you. Hit my back but That's fine.”

She also clarified earlier reports that it was a head or neck injury, saying “It is neither a concussion nor a neck.”

Asuka and Mandy Rose have been feuding since Rose pinned Asuka on SmackDown several weeks ago. Asuka will defend the SmackDown women’s championship at Fastlane, which will take place this Sunday in Cleveland, Ohio.
