Balor vs. Nakamura set for WWE Extreme Rules pre-show

An Intercontinental title match has been added to the card for Extreme Rules.

Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor will defend his title against Shinsuke Nakamura on tonight's pre-show. The match was announced on the pre-Extreme Rules edition of WWE Now.

On SmackDown's go-home show for Extreme Rules, Nakamura defeated Balor in a non-title match. Their program began when Nakamura interrupted a backstage interview with Balor on the June 25 episode of SmackDown and indicated that he wants the Intercontinental title.
