Bray Wyatt injured in car accident, will miss tonight’s WWE Raw

Bray Wyatt won’t be appearing on tonight’s episode of Raw after being injured in a car accident last Friday.

WWE.com posted an article today noting that Wyatt suffered “multiple injuries” in a head-on collision when traveling to the airport for this past weekend’s house shows. WWE didn’t reveal any further details on his injuries or the severity of them. They noted that he has since been released from Tampa General Hospital after being treated.

Wyatt’s car was totaled in the accident.

With Wyatt not on the house shows, Matt Hardy instead faced Mojo Rawley in singles matches.

Wyatt & Hardy are the current Raw Tag Team Champions and are scheduled to defend their titles against The B-Team (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) at Extreme Rules later this month. WWE didn’t indicate whether or not the status of that match is in question. The pay-per-view will be taking place at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on July 15.
