Bret Hart posts positive message following surgery for Prostate cancer

Bret Hart posted on Instagram on Friday a positive message after his surgery for prostate cancer on Wednesday in Calgary.

“Surgery’s over and on the long road to recovery. I want to thank Dr. Hyndman and the nursing staff at Rocky View Hospital for an outstanding job. I also want to thank my family, friends and fans for all your love and support. Things are looking up and I should be home in the next couple of days. In the words of Vince McMahon: “It’s onwards and upwards.”

Hart was recovering from four-corner right wrist surgery which makes writing and typing very difficult.

Hart announced publicly on 2/1 that he had prostate cancer and that surgery was imminent. He briefly attended the WWE house show in Calgary on Friday night where his niece, Natalya, performed.
