Brock Lesnar appearance confirmed for next week’s WWE Raw

WWE has confirmed that Brock Lesnar will be appearing on next week’s Raw.

Paul Heyman announced during tonight’s episode that Lesnar will be appearing next week. This will be the first time Lesnar has been on WWE television since the post-Royal Rumble edition of Raw, where he laid out Seth Rollins with six F-5s. Lesnar will defend his Universal Championship against Rollins at WrestleMania 35 on April 7.

There was an angle on tonight’s Raw where Shelton Benjamin, who has been friends with Lesnar since college and is part of the SmackDown roster, attacked Rollins and gave him three German suplexes. Rollins then defeated Benjamin in a match.

Lesnar didn’t wrestle at either Fastlane or Elimination Chamber. He retained the Universal title against Finn Balor at the Royal Rumble.

Next week’s Raw is taking place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Lesnar is also advertised for the April 1 episode of Raw in Washington D.C., which is the go-home show for WrestleMania.
