Dana Brooke joins WWE Raw roster, teams with Mandy Rose

Though the start of the WWE Draft is less than two weeks away, the Raw women’s division got a new member tonight.

Dana Brooke joined the Raw roster on tonight’s post-Clash of Champions edition of the show. Brooke, who was formerly on SmackDown, teamed with Mandy Rose to defeat Natalya & Lana on tonight’s show. Rose pinned Lana to get the win after hitting a knee strike.

This was the first time Rose has wrestled on Raw since it was announced earlier this month that she’s been traded to the brand. In storyline, The Miz had Rose moved off SmackDown as part of his feud with Otis.

Adam Pearce introduced Rose & Brooke as Natalya & Lana’s opponents tonight after Natalya & Lana complained about Shayna Baszler & Nia Jax not being stripped of the Women’s Tag Team titles. Natalya & Lana said the titles should be theirs. Baszler & Jax were scheduled to defend the Women’s Tag Team titles against Ruby Riott & Liv Morgan at Clash of Champions before that match was pulled from the show. WWE has announced that the Baszler & Jax vs. Riott & Morgan title match will take place when Baszler & Jax are cleared to compete.

Rose & Brooke were interviewed later on tonight’s Raw and said they’re coming for the Women’s Tag Team titles after Riott & Morgan get their shot against Baszler & Jax.

This year’s WWE Draft will begin on the Friday, October 9 episode of SmackDown and end on the Monday, October 12 episode of Raw.
