Danny Burch officially signs full-time deal with WWE

After regularly appearing at NXT house shows and on television for the past year, Danny Burch is officially back with WWE on a full-time basis.

Burch, who is known as Martin Stone outside of WWE, revealed the news during a speech at Beyond Wrestling’s show in Worcester, Massachusetts yesterday. Revolution Pro Wrestling had previously announced that he wouldn’t be able to make their May 11th event at York Hall.

Burch was in WWE developmental earlier this decade before being released in 2014. He later did enhancement work for the company and appeared in last year’s United Kingdom Championship tournament, losing to Jordan Devlin in the first round. In NXT, he was put in a tag team with Oney Lorcan after they had faced each other a couple of times on TV.

At the latest set of NXT tapings, Burch appeared and, along with Lorcan and Pete Dunne, was involved in a feud against the Undisputed Era. The next tapings will be at Full Sail University on May 9th and 10th.
