Drew McIntyre is set to make his first appearance since losing the WWE Championship.

A commercial that aired during SmackDown tonight announced that McIntyre will appear on Monday’s episode of Raw. McIntyre will address the attack by Bobby Lashley that led to him losing the WWE Championship to The Miz at Elimination Chamber.

McIntyre retained the WWE Championship against AJ Styles, Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, Kofi Kingston, and Randy Orton in an Elimination Chamber match this past Sunday, but Lashley attacked McIntyre after the match was over. The Miz then cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to become WWE Champion.

In addition to McIntyre appearing, Monday’s Raw will feature The Miz defending the WWE Championship against Lashley. Though Miz tried to delay giving him the title shot, it was revealed on this week’s Raw that Miz and Lashley made a deal where Lashley would be first in line for a shot at the WWE Championship if he helped Miz win the title from McIntyre.

Braun Strowman could have been added to Monday’s title match, but Lashley defeated him in the main event of this week’s Raw.

McIntyre didn’t appear on Raw this week following Elimination Chamber. Sheamus defeated Hardy on the episode and then did a post-show interview saying he still wants a one-on-one match against McIntyre.
