Jeff Hardy has shoulder injury, unclear if will need surgery

Jeff Hardy didn’t wrestle last night in Sacramento due to shoulder issues.

Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported it earlier today and we confirmed that Hardy has a shoulder injury. Right now it is not clear the severity of the injury.

Hardy injured his shoulder in the tag team title Iron Man match at Great Balls of Fire taking a big bump outside the ring and has been working on it since. He last wrestled on Monday’s episode of Raw, where he was involved in the six-pack challenge main event for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship.

He had no bookings until last night in Sacramento, where the scheduled Hardys vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson tag team match was changed to Matt Hardy, with Jeff in the corner, against Anderson, with Gallows in the corner.

The Pro Wrestling Sheet story said it was unclear if he will need surgery, which could put him out of action for several months.

We were told that nothing is certain at this point.
