NXT San Jose house show changed to TV taping

An NXT house show scheduled for later this month has been converted to a television taping.

WWE announced today that NXT’s event in San Jose, California on Thursday, November 15 will now be a TV taping. The show is taking place at the Event Center on the campus of San Jose State University.

The show in San Jose is being held two days before NXT TakeOver: WarGames. With the next Full Sail taping not scheduled until November 28, it’s likely that the San Jose taping will be to film content for at least one of the post-TakeOver episodes before NXT returns to Full Sail.

The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong & Bobby Fish) vs. Ricochet, War Raiders & Pete Dunne in a WarGames match, NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa defending against Velveteen Dream, and Aleister Black vs. Johnny Gargano have been announced for TakeOver: WarGames. The Staples Center in Los Angeles, California will host the event on November 17 during Survivor Series weekend.
