NXT’s Catalina Garcia debuts on WWE Raw

This week’s episode of Raw featured the debut of a recent WWE signee.

After reporting to the WWE Performance Center in August, Catalina Garcia made her televised WWE debut on tonight’s Raw. She was paired with Sin Cara and helped him counteract Andrade and Zelina Vega.

Garcia wore a mask and was introduced before Sin Cara faced Andrade in a rematch from last week. A graphic listed her as “Carolina,” and that’s also the name she’s referred to as on WWE.com.

When Vega tried to cause a distraction, Garcia stopped her and reversed a hurricanrana into a powerbomb against the barricade. That led to the finish of the match, with Andrade rolling up Sin Cara with his feet on the ropes after Sin Cara’s attention was turned to Garcia and Vega.

Garcia is from Chile and was known as “La Diva del Ring” Jessy before signing with WWE. She had wrestled at NXT house shows since joining the company.
