San Jose to host WWE Extreme Rules PPV

WWE has confirmed one of the dates on their pay-per-view calendar for 2020.

This year’s Extreme Rules PPV will take place at the SAP Center in San Jose, California on Sunday, July 19. The announcement was made during last night’s SmackDown at the SAP Center.

Some tickets for Extreme Rules are now available as part of a Friday Night SmackDown pre-sale (using the code “EXTREME”). Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Pacific time on Friday, March 20.

The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania hosted last year’s Extreme Rules PPV in July. The show was headlined by an Extreme Rules mixed tag match, with Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch defeating Baron Corbin & Lacey Evans. Brock Lesnar also cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Rollins after the match.

WWE’s next PPV event is Super ShowDown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Thursday, February 27. Prior to WrestleMania 36, WWE also has Elimination Chamber taking place in Philadelphia on Sunday, March 8.
