Sasha Banks-Bayley rematch set for next week’s WWE SmackDown

After losing the title at Hell in a Cell, Bayley is getting her rematch for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Sasha Banks will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bayley on SmackDown next Friday (November 6). That was made official after Banks accepted a challenge from Bayley on SmackDown tonight.

Banks won the title from Bayley by defeating her in a Hell in a Cell match this past Sunday. Banks made her first appearance as champion on SmackDown tonight but was interrupted by Bayley. Bayley said the whole world knows that Banks can win a championship — but even Banks knows that she can’t hold onto one. Bayley mentioned that she was the longest reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion in history and held the title for 380 days before losing it to Banks.

Bayley brought up that Banks forced her to sign their Hell in a Cell contract under duress. She challenged Banks to a title match on SmackDown next week. Banks said she hopes Bayley brings everything she’s got — because “backstabbing bitches never win.”

The winner of Banks vs. Bayley will face Raw Women’s Champion Asuka in a non-title champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series on Sunday, November 22.
