Shane McMahon returning to WWE TV on Raw

For the first time in 10 months, Shane McMahon is set to appear on WWE television.

WWE posted a tweet this afternoon revealing that Shane will be returning to TV on tonight’s episode of Raw: “Shane-O-Mac is back! @shanemcmahon RETURNS to #WWERaw TONIGHT. What will he have in store?”

On SmackDown’s Fox premiere in October 2019, Shane lost a ladder match to Kevin Owens where the stipulation was that the loser would be fired from WWE.

Last week’s Raw drew 1,617,000 viewers, the second lowest number the show has done in its history. The episode averaged a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demo, tied for the third lowest rating Raw has ever done in that category.

Apollo Crews defending the United States Championship against MVP will kick off tonight’s episode of Raw. WWE will also follow up on Asuka losing the Raw Women’s Championship to Sasha Banks last week and Randy Orton laying out Drew McIntyre with an RKO at the end of last week’s show. McIntyre defending the WWE Championship against Orton has been officially announced for SummerSlam.
