Two World Cup qualifying matches set for WWE Raw

Two World Cup qualifiers have been announced for tomorrow’s episode of Raw.

The updated preview for tomorrow’s show lists Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre and Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler in World Cup qualifying matches. There will be eight entrants in the tournament, with four left to be decided. John Cena, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, and Randy Orton were confirmed for the World Cup on last week’s television.

A World Cup qualifying match is also set for SmackDown 1000 this Tuesday. In his return match, Rey Mysterio will face Shinsuke Nakamura for a spot in the tournament.

The WWE World Cup is scheduled to take place at Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 2.

Ronda Rousey responding to The Bellas is also advertised for tomorrow’s Raw. There was an angle last week where Nikki and Brie attacked Rousey after their six-woman tag match against The Riott Squad, and Rousey defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Nikki was officially announced for Evolution.
