Tyler Breeze making WWE 205 Live debut, Lio Rush vs. Isaiah Scott set

Tyler Breeze is set to make his 205 Live in-ring debut tonight.

WWE has announced that Breeze will be in action on tonight’s 205 Live, though his opponent has yet to be revealed. Former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott has also been confirmed for the show, and WWE is hyping that Drake Maverick has lifted Jack Gallagher’s storyline suspension.

Maverick tweeted: “Several weeks ago @GentlemanJackG laid his hands on me, and I was forced to internally suspend him. That suspension has now been lifted. He is now free to return to #205Live if and when he is ready to act like a ‘Gentleman’ again.”

Breeze’s most recent match on NXT television was when he and Fandango defeated The Singh Brothers on December 11. Fandango posted on Instagram on December 21 that he underwent Tommy John surgery to repair an elbow injury that he suffered during that match.

Following the WWE Draft in October, it was announced that some of NXT’s wrestlers under 205 pounds would also be appearing on 205 Live going forward.

Tonight’s SmackDown and 205 Live are taking place at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. The Usos vs. Baron Corbin & Dolph Ziggler, Sasha Banks vs. Lacey Evans, and a Miz TV segment with John Morrison have been announced for SmackDown.
