VIDEO: WWE WrestleMania 36 announcement press conference

The host city for WrestleMania 36 will be formally announced at a press event this morning.

It’s been expected that WrestleMania 36 would take place in Tampa, Florida, and that has now been confirmed by WWE. Raymond James Stadium will be the venue for WrestleMania 36. Sunday, April 5, 2020 will be the date for the show.

This will be the second time in four years that Florida has hosted WrestleMania. It will also be the fourth WrestleMania to take place in Florida. Orlando hosted WrestleMania 33 in 2017 and WrestleMania XXIV in 2008, while Miami hosted WrestleMania XXVIII in 2012.

Raymond James Stadium is the home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and is where the XFL’s Tampa Bay team will play their home games when the league kicks off in 2020.

The WrestleMania announcement press conference is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Eastern time and will be available to watch below:
