WWE adds stipulation to Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair rematch

WWE has added a stipulation to Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair’s SmackDown Women’s Championship rematch.

Coming out of Super Show-Down, it was announced that Lynch would again defend her title against Charlotte on this week’s SmackDown. A stipulation for the match was then revealed today: if Lynch gets disqualified, Charlotte wins the title.

The stipulation plays into the finish of Lynch vs. Charlotte at Super Show-Down. Charlotte defeated Lynch by DQ in that match, with Lynch using her title belt as a weapon when Charlotte had her in the Figure Eight. Charlotte attacked Lynch as she was leaving, but Lynch stood tall by hitting a clothesline, an exploder suplex on the floor, and a running knee strike.

Tuesday’s SmackDown is taking place at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Two qualifying matches for WWE’s World Cup tournament (which will be held at Crown Jewel) have been announced for the episode, with Big Show facing Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy taking on Samoa Joe.
