Kofi Kingston appears to be dealing with a jaw injury.

On Monday night’s episode of Raw, it was said that Kingston wasn’t on the show due to suffering a broken jaw during a match against The Hurt Business in recent weeks. T-Bar defeated Kingston’s tag team partner Xavier Woods in a singles match on Monday’s Raw after Woods was distracted by RETRIBUTION.

Prior to Monday’s Raw, Kingston interviewed rugby player Tendai Mtawarira on Instagram Live and said he was dealing with a jaw injury where his mouth was only closing on one side.

Whether or not Kingston’s injury is a broken jaw hasn’t been confirmed. He was most recently in action when The New Day (Kingston & Woods) defeated The Miz & John Morrison on last week’s Legends Night edition of Raw. The Hurt Business (Bobby Lashley, MVP, Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander) defeated Kingston, Woods, Jeff Hardy & Riddle in an eight-man tag match on Raw the week before that.

After Kingston & Woods lost the Raw Tag Team titles to The Hurt Business’ Benjamin & Alexander at December’s TLC pay-per-view, Kingston tweeted that he was spitting out pieces of his teeth following the match: “Hats off to @Sheltyb803 and @CedricAlexander tonight. I’m still spiting out pieces of my teeth. You’ve officially earned my respect. Good battle! I’m thoroughly looking forward to the next one…”
