WWE releases ‘unaired final moment’ of Paul Heyman interview

WWE has furthered the storyline for Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns at SummerSlam with an “unaired final moment” from Paul Heyman’s interview on Monday’s Raw.

The video picks up at the end of the interview, with a disheveled Heyman saying Reigns doesn’t stand a chance against this version of Lesnar. Heyman then goes to say “unless” before cutting himself off. Renee Young asks what he was going to say Reigns needs to do, but Heyman leaves without telling her:

Dissension between Lesnar and Heyman began with an angle on last week’s Raw. Kurt Angle said he would fire Heyman if Lesnar didn’t appear in the ring, and Lesnar told Heyman that they aren’t friends and that Heyman works for him. The show closed with Lesnar giving Angle an F5 and threatening Heyman. The footage posted by WWE appears to be teasing Heyman and Reigns aligning.

SummerSlam will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on August 19. The rest of Heyman’s segment from this week is available to watch below:
