Popular UK wrestling name Tom Campbell has confirmed his new full-time role with PROGRESS Wrestling, revealing that he is the new full-time ring announcer for the company going forward.

Campbell, who also works at Cultaholic, NORTH Wrestling and across radio broadcast companies in the United Kingdom (including BBC regionals) wrote the following on Instagram:

“Let’s make this officially official! 🎤 I am very proud to say that I am the new full-time ring announcer for @progresswrestling! Helping PROGRESS out with their Manchester show last month was a wonderful experience…but it turns out it was just the start of it! Catch me, along with incredible PROGRESS wrestling action, every month at the Electric Ballroom in Camden (and all over the country on the Odyssey Tour in September – and WHO KNOWS where else beyond there!) and around the world on @howrestlinguk!”

Who owns PROGRESS Wrestling now?

It was recently revealed that former WWE wrestlers Big Damo and Nikki Cross have taken ownership of PROGRESS Wrestling and co-ownership of DEFY Wrestling.

The official announcement Monday revealed the news as Martyn Best and Lee McAteer are done with the promotion.

“We are delighted to be the new co-owners of PROGRESS. We both started in the UK and Ireland and fully believe this is host to the greatest talent pool on earth and PROGRESS is well positioned to showcase this generation and the next generation,” said Damo.

Our best wishes go out to Tom!
