AEW notes: Insane Clown Posse & Rhino Ice Bucket Challenge, Britt Baker visits Rebel
After being invited to AEW Dynamite and appearing briefly on the MyAEW feed before the show, the Insane Clown Posse made their promotional on-screen debut during Thursday’s Collision from Detroit and for a good cause.
Michigan natives Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J were flanked by another native son in former ECW World Champion Rhino in dousing three members of The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong) as part of the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise awareness and funds for ALS research.
Rhino wrestled in a dark match prior to Wednesday’s show, defeating Nick Comoroto. He previously appeared on Dynamite in May 2025, unsuccessfully challenging then-ROH TV Champion Nick Wayne.
The segment was done to build momentum for the Rebel Heart tribute edition of AEW Dynamite, set for Athens, Georgia, on September 9. Longtime AEW wrestler and backstage worker Rebel (Tanea Brooks) was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year.
While it’s unknown if she will appear on that episode of Dynamite after another long and unexplained absence, Rebel’s former running mate and former AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker paid her a visit that Brooks posted on her Instagram as part of her Tanea’s Tidbits segments.
The clip kicked off with an image of their former ‘Waiting Room’ talk show segment on Dynamite. The two shared a few laughs and answered a question about what people should offer to do when they visit before asking fans to go to AEW’s website to buy Rebel Heart merchandise where 100% of the proceeds go to the I Am ALS Foundation. The two then later sped off in Rebel’s wheelchair.
