Update on Brock Lesnar’s WWE future
There are some within WWE who reportedly aren’t convinced Brock Lesnar is actually retired.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reported Thursday that high-ranking officials within WWE believe Lesnar will still be involved with next year’s WrestleMania 43 in Saudi Arabia. The report continued that if Lesnar does not wrestle at the event, one source believes he could instead headline next year’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
“Can’t envision Lesnar walking away before one final payday in Saudi Arabia,” the source reportedly said.
Lesnar announced his retirement during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday, saying his bout against Omos at SummerSlam was his last. However, Lesnar has teased retirement several times in recent years.
Lesnar seemingly retired after his loss to Femi at WrestleMania 42 in April, but returned one month later. He also teased retirement after losing to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023, removing his gloves and placing them in the ring, leading to speculation that he his career was over. Lesnar then returned at SummerSlam 2025.
