Finn Balor & Becky Lynch set to make ‘massive’ WWE announcement in Ireland
WWE fans in and around Ireland may have something special to cheer about Friday night.
Announced on Thursday, Becky Lynch and Finn Balor will appear live in studio on Newstalk FM’s Off The Ball show at 7 pm local time to make a “massive announcement” according to the media outlet. Off The Ball is billed as the country’s “most popular sports show.”
Speculation is that the announcement will be a premium live event, perhaps of the Clash in Ireland variety. WWE’s past Clash events in Europe have included Clash at the Castle (Scotland), Clash in Italy, and Clash in Paris. The Paris show was announced seven months ahead of time while the Italy show was announced three months ahead of time.
WWE has yet to announce a PLEs for either November or December, making it likely any PLE for Ireland would take place in 2027. If one is announced, it would be the first in the country’s history. No UK tours for 2027 have been announced as of yet.
