Oba Femi announced for upcoming WWE SmackDown
With Brock Lesnar in the rear view, Oba Femi made it clear he has big targets in mind with Bron Breakker stepping up for a face-off on this past Monday’s WWE Raw.
However, the 2026 King of the Ring has a new date on his calendar and on a different show: WWE SmackDown as it was announced Thursday that Femi will be on the Friday, August 21 Raw from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
With the date weeks away, it’s unclear why he’s appearing on the blue brand. He does hold a guaranteed World title shot by virtue of his King of the Ring tournament win.
Following his call-up to the main roster earlier this year, Femi did compete on SmackDown, going 4-0 against Johnny Gargano, Kit Wilson twice and The Miz. He later worked two dark matches before officially moving to Raw.
Femi is coming off his Hell in a Cell win over Lesnar at SummerSlam this past weekend.
