AEW announces three matches for April 9 Jacksonville live event

Three days before putting tickets on sale for their first-ever non-televised live event, AEW announced the first three matches Friday in addition to other talents who will appear on the Friday, April 9th event in Jacksonville, Florida.

While AEW hasn’t announced the title as such, TicketMaster lists the show as “AEW Presents – The House Always Wins.”

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega will team with good friend Michael Nakazawa against Matt and Mike Sydal; Cody Rhodes will face Ethan Page; and Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks will once again team with Brandon Cutler to face Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El Zero Miedo, Rey Fenix).

They also announced TNT Champion Darby Allin, The Pinnacle (MJF, Wardlow, FTR and Shawn Spears), Britt Baker, Orange Cassidy and Jade Cargill will all be in action at Daily’s Place.

The show will take place during the Friday of WrestleMania week as Jacksonville is roughly a three-hour drive away from the Tampa area. It will not be shown live on YouTube, BR Live or TNT.
