Cody-Sonny Kiss, two other matches added to AEW Fight For The Fallen
Next Wednesday’s AEW Fight For The Fallen show on TNT appears nearly complete as three new matches were announced during the second night of Fyter Fest.
TNT Champion Cody announced on Twitter late in the show that his open challenge for next week was answered in the form of Sonny Kiss. This will be Kiss’ first opportunity at a title in AEW.
Also announced was a six-man tag match between The Elite (Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks) vs. Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Marko Stunt) as well as FTR facing the Lucha Bros of Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix. The two teams were on opposite ends of an eight-man tag on Wednesday.
The show is headlined by AEW World Champion Jon Moxley vs. FTW Champion Brian Cage for Moxley’s belt. Taz reintroduced the title he created in ECW on Wednesday’s show and named Cage his champion.
The event will be a fundraiser for COVID-19 relief funds.
