Jon Moxley’s return, Hardy-Guevara announced for next AEW Dynamite

Next week’s live edition of AEW Dynamite from Jacksonville, FL, will feature the return of AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.

Moxley’s opponent wasn’t named, but the hook of the match is that Taz will be on commentary, further fueling the rivalry between his new charge Brian Cage and Moxley before next month’s Fyter Fest match.

In other announced matches:

  • Two weeks after making their promotional debut, FTR will return to in-ring action against The Natural Nightmares (Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall). The latter were unsuccessful in their first-ever AEW tag team title opportunity on Wednesday’s Dynamite while FTR continued their recent skirmishes with the Young Bucks and The Butcher & The Blade.
  • Sammy Guevara vs. Matt Hardy will finally go one-on-one in a match that has been building for weeks. Guevara gets to choose which version of Hardy he will face.
  • In another match that has been teased for some time, Wardlow and Luchasaurus will go head-to-head in a lumberjack match. Jurassic Express, Wardlow, and MJF had a pull apart on Wednesday’s show.
  • Continuing the recent recruitment of Colt Cabana to the Dark Order, Brodie Lee will team with Cabana against the relatively new team of Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss. Lee presented Cabana with an envelope on Wednesday’s show while Janela and Kiss picked up a win over Shawn Dean and Musa on this week’s Dark.
