For the first time since 2016, Ruby Soho will return to the indies as Beyond Wrestling announced she will be part of their December 5th card in Providence, Rhode Island.

Soho, the former Ruby Riott in WWE and Heidi Lovelace before that, is no stranger to Beyond having worked matches for the New England-based promotion since 2013. Her opponent has yet to be announced.

This will be her first indie match since a December 2016 AAW show in Illinois when she defeated Kimber Lee. She started in NXT two weeks after.

After being released by WWE earlier this year, she signed with AEW, making her debut as the joker in the women’s Casino Battle Royale. She won the match and earned a World title shot against Britt Baker, but was unsuccessful in defeating the champion at Dynamite: Grand Slam.

Since then, Soho has won two straight and will learn Friday if she is to be in the TBS Women’s title tournament.
