AEW announces date & location for Winter is Coming edition of Dynamite

The annual Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite now has a date and location.

Announced during Saturday’s AEW Collision, the gateway to winter will be held on Wednesday, December 11th in Kansas City, Missouri, at the T-Mobile Center.

This will be the fifth-such Winter is Coming themed edition of Dynamite, first beginning in December 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. That night saw Kenny Omega defeated then-champion Jon Moxley for the AEW World title.

The next two years saw the show head to Garland, Texas. The 2021 version featured then-AEW World Champion Hangman Page and Bryan Danielson going to a one-hour draw while in 2022, then-AEW World Champion MJF defended against Ricky Starks.

In 2023, AEW expanded the theme to Rampage and Collision with shows taking place in both Arlington and Garland, Texas. As of now, the Thursday Collision taping in St. Louis, Missouri, doesn’t have the same designation.

AEW also announced the Wednesday, December 18th Dynamite will emanate from Washington, DC. The plan for that Saturday’s Collision and for the following week’s Christmas Day edition of Dynamite have yet to be announced.
