AEW Beach Break Dynamite & Collision to be four-hour live special

The four-hour blocks of AEW action on TV will start earlier than June.

During Wednesday’s Dynamite, Excalibur revealed that Wednesday, May 14th will feature a four-hour live edition of Beach Break, encompassing both that night’s Dynamite and Collision.

The show will emanate from the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois, beginning at its usual 8 PM Eastern start time.

It becomes the third four-hour live special announced by AEW this month. Wednesday, June 4th will see a four-hour Fyter Fest from Denver, Colorado, while on Wednesday, June 11th, the four-hour Summer Blockbuster takes place in Portland, Oregon.

This week, AEW canceled the Saturday Collision for May 17th in Wichita, Kansas, moving it up to Chicago instead.

It will be the fourth overall Beach Break-themed night in company history dating back to 2021 and the second straight year the themed show has emanated from Chicago with last year’s event being held at the Wintrust Arena.
