AEW Collision to air on Thursdays twice in July, more preemptions possibly coming

AEW Collision

The latest lookahead for AEW programming on TNT, TBS and HBO Max has revealed that Collision will go head-to-head with TNA Impact twice in the month of July and possibly at least once a month ongoing.

Listed on the schedule is Collision on Thursday, July 2 at 8 pm Eastern, taped in San Diego after the previous night’s Dynamite with a listed runtime of 2:30. The pre-emption is due to the debut of TNT Boxing on Saturday, July 4 which kicks off a series of monthly events in conjunction with DAZN.

That could mean Collision is pre-empted once a month depending on their unreleased fight schedule unless it moves to TBS for that week.

The second Thursday Collision is set for July 30 at 8 pm Eastern as the show airs live from Detroit, Michigan. The runtime is unknown as the TNT schedule doesn’t go out that far. The primary reason for the change is night one of WWE SummerSlam on Saturday.

Also on the docket for the month is the Redemption countdown show (Friday, July 25 after Collision) and the Zero Hour pre-show, set for 6 pm Eastern — both on their usual outlets.

The rest of the July sees both Dynamite and Collision in its usual slots and no additional archive content being uploaded to HBO Max.
